Regen Disabler Instructions

Thank you for purchasing the LEVUP Regen Disabler for your Onyx RCR 80v!

We are continuing to level up all kinds of PEVS and this product is one of a kind! Without any splicing, tapping, or software tweaks you are now able to disable regen on the fly!

Full functions:

Toggled Left: Stock setup, you are functioning exactly like when you got the bike out the box! Regen on the left and Mechanical Brake on the right.

Center Toggle(off position): This mode is full stealth! Complements when you have your headlights full disabled even when engaging the lever lights will not turn on!

Toggled Right: The fun mode! Regen is disabled, but all lights will still function! If you want more control, modulation, free coasting while using the rear brake this function is for you!

Instructions:

It is very important that you install the connections correctly or else you will have a funky setup which you may like or dislike: Reverse regen: instead of regen on the rear it can be on the front! Or having both levers regen! The possibilities are quite many. However we are only going to focus on the set up i mentioned above to keep it simple!

On the harness keep in mind there is a quick disconnect on the full kit. You can disconnect it and fish the wire from the belly and up to the handle bar which will make it easier.

You need to locate 2 of the connections for the lever they are 2 pin connections with black and yellow wires coming from the handle bar and RED and BLACK from the controller.

Now it is important to locate the Left and Right Lever. In this case we will use colors. On the Male side(red and black) that you disconnected it follow it down and find another set of wires connected to it that is tapped. One side will be YELLOW and GREEN and the other side will be BLUE and GREEN. Mark them so you have a reference especially the connections with black and yellow wires as they do not have labels.

Keep note:

YELLOW and GREEN is your LEFT lever and BLUE and GREEN is your RIGHT

On the Regen Disabler kit, you will see markings and labels on each connector. Follow as it says.

The labels Left Lever and Right Lever from the Regen Disabler will go into the Male Lever connection.

The Left and Right harness will go to it's Female Connector

Once all 4 connections are connected go ahead and try it out. It should work as I mentioned above in the first page. The connections got mixed up and need to recheck.
