Onyx RCR Kill Switch and Alarm Bypass

The Onyx RCR kill switch and alarm bypass Dual-function safety and security module for your electric mobility setup. The integrated kill switch cuts power instantly, while the alarm bypass lets you disable alerts when needed. We may or may not ask for your order number for your Onyx RCR 80V to confirm you currently own one. 

There is 2 types of switches: Button Style or Key Style. Both these set ups can fit in the Glory Hole of the handlebar. It requires you to flip the handlebar mount clamp in reverse). Everything will be wired and all is needed is to fish the lines in the belly of the RCR.

Please choose your option carefully as it determines how the harness will function.

Bypass Mode:

-In this mode, the system will bypass the alarm and can turn on and off your bike without the keyfob. You can still utilize the keyfob if wanted but the switch of your choice must be in off position. 

Kill Switch Mode:

In this mode, POWER required to turn on the bike is off. Normally this should be hidden however you can leave it in plain site. As long as it's in OFF position the bike will not turn on with keyfob or if you have a dual system with the bypass it will also disable it. 

Dual System Mode:

In this mode, you are utilizing both functions of a bypass and kill switch. As i stated above, if the kill switch is off turning on the bike is disabled. If the kill switch is on you can utilize your key fob or the button/key ignition to turn on the bike. 

Guide to choosing a product:

In the choices you are choosing either single or dual system and choosing a switch you want to utilize: Button or Key Switch. This will directly plug into the glory hole of the ONYX 80v

Key Switch is 22mm in diameter.

Button Switch is 25mm.

We can offer smaller diameter if you are willing to utilize other mounting points on the bike. 

Single System - Button or Key

You are choosing what kind of switch you want to use. Regardless of what you choose you are able to utilize bypass mode OR kill switch mode when choosing SINGLE SYSTEM. You can upgrade the system later on if you choose to do so without too much hassle! This is the most basic and most recommended if you do not like the alarm system or just want a secondary cut off switch for your bike. 

Dual System - Button/Key -- Key/Key -- Button/Button

You a choosing to utilize Bypass mode and Kill switch mode using 2 different or same switches. The first switch will utilize the glory hole. The 2nd switch you may want to decide where to mount it before purchasing. This is more on the extreme end of a set up if you want full security for your bike. 

Custom:

We can do custom system for you such as finger print scanner, hidden kill switch or any other switch you want to utilize You are responsible to figure out the mounting points but we can suggest and recommend a system.
